We have Godparents!

A lot has been happening and I feel like I'm too busy with work and Ace that I rarely get time to update folks. Well, it will be easier to update everyone now because for my birthday I got a handheld video camera and a new digital camera. I'm one lucky girl! I'll be uploading pics and video like crazy!
Well, we have asked Matt's good friend from college Michael Markovich to be Ace's godfather, he has happily accepted. We'll refer to him as the GodMarko. I decided to ask my dear lifelong friend Heather Brisso to be Ace's godmother. I asked her to dinner and had Ace wear a onsie that said 'Will you be my Godmother?'. It was perfect because I had Ace wearing a hoodie over his onsie so it was covered when Heather got to the restaurant. I sat him in his car seat on Heather's side of the booth and when she showed up, Ace was chewing on the zipper. I asked her if she wouldn't mind taking it off of him and she did and then started reading the onsie. I'm glad she didn't look at me, because I was bawling like Ace does when he's got a tummy ache. Of course when she looked up she had tears in her eyes and happily accepted as well.
*Side note: Heather and her twin sister Hallie and I started calling each other 'bunny' about 5 years ago. It's stuck ever since.
We have ourselves a GodMarko and a GodBunny! Ace is such a lucky little man to have so many people love him and us.
